Earlier in April, Fairy Tail mangaka Hiro Mashima (真島 ヒロ) announced that a new original work was in preparation for Weekly Shonen Magazine. Today, the said new work is revealed to be Eden’s Zero.
Eden’s Zero is still tentative title. It is the first manga Mashima created after Fairy Tail finished 11 months ago. The first chapter is scheduled for the 30th volume of Weekly Shonen Magazine, which will be available starting 27th June.
Aside from Japanese, the first chapter will also be released in English, French, Chinese, Korean, and Thai.
Mashima is not just working on Eden’s Zero at the moment. He has already planned a spin-off sequel-ish manga and a brand new short spin-off work for Fairy Tail. No detail about these two mysterious works are available.
