Back in 2017, Lizardcube redesigned and launched Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap for PC and console, recently, DotEmu, the publisher of the recently released redesigned version, announced that the game will be optimized by Playdigious for mobile!
The mobile-optimized version of the game is expected to launch worldwide on 30th May. The game will inherit the hand-drawn animations of the PC and console version, but feature different controls catering to mobile gamers.

About the Series
The original Wonder Boy game was released in 1986 as an arcade game. The game received several sequels over different platforms including Sega’s Master System console, the Sega Genesis, and most recently, PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.
the original game was a basic side-scrolling platformer, but subsequent titles featured additional features, including RPG elements.
