The anime adaptation of Natsuki Kizu’s (キヅ ナツキ) BL manga Given (ギヴン) will reveal four character PV in four consecutive weeks

The anime, which will premiere in July, is directed by Mr. Osomatsu (おそ松さん) episode director Hikaru Yamaguchi (山口 ひかる) and developed by studio Lerche. “BanG Dream!” (バンドリ) series composition Yuniko Ayana(綾奈 ゆにこ) is overseeing the series scripts.
▍About Given
Written and illustrated by Natsuki Kizu, Given centers around the young members of a rock band of the same name.
Electric guitarist Ritsuka Uenoyama (上ノ山 立夏) accidentally finds his classmate Mafuyu Sato (佐藤 真冬) has an extremely good voice after repairing the broken string of Mafuyu’s guitar. He invites Mafuyu to join the band immediately and later learns that Mafuyu’s guitar was previously owned by Yuuki, Mafuyu’s childhood friend and boyfriend who died in an apparent suicide.
The band begins composing music in advance of a live performance, but Mafuyu is unable to write lyrics for the song. The day of the performance, Mafuyu has a breakthrough and sings a powerful song about his feelings of loss over Yuuki. The heartbreaking voice prompts Ritsuka to realize his romantic feelings for Mafuyu…
Given has been serialized in the bimonthly magazine Cheri+ since April 2013. The series has been collected into five bound volumes published by Shinshokan (新書館).
