Sega Games, Colorful Palette, and Crypton Future Media has revealed the game system and characters for the previously announced Project Sekai Colorful Stage ft. Hatsune Miku mobile rhythm game.

▍World Setting
Project Sekai is a mobile rhythm game featuring Hatsune Miku set in modern Japan and different “worlds”. The “worlds” (Sekai) are born from strong imagination and creativity. Each different sekai will feature a different band. From the announcement, five different musical styles have been announced for the game, Band, Idol, Street, Musical, and Underground.
▍Game System
The game features two main parts, a traditional rhythm game gameplay, and scenarios where players can watch the different characters interact with one another. The game will feature five different difficulty settings ranging from Easy to Master.
All the scenarios in the game will be fully voiced and feature Live 2D graphics.
In the main rhythm game system, the game features a 3DMV system where fully 3D models will perform in the background. Players will be able to collect different outfits for their characters and equip them to change what the characters are wearing during the 3DMVs.
▍Tracks
As previously mentioned, players will be able to collect songs from the series including songs from Project DIVA as well as iconic songs from earlier titles. During the live-stream, a few songs were revealed.
The live-stream also revealed some of the composers who will be working on Project Sekai. The game’s first theme song is composed by Giga in collaboration with Mitchie M.
