Anime adaptation of Suu Minazuki’s (水無月 すう) fantasy action manga Plunderer (プランダラ) reveals the 4th PV, new cast and premiere date on 8th January 2020.
The television series will be directed by “Neon Genesis Evangelion” key animation Hiroyuki Kanbe (神戸 洋行) and written by “Reborn!” scriptwriter Masashi Suzuki (鈴木 雅), with animation by Geek Toys. Yuka Takashina (高品 有桂), Yūki Fukuchi (福地 友樹), and Hiroko Fukuda (福田 裕子) are providing character designs.
The opening theme song, “Plunderer”, is performed by voice actress Miku Itō (伊藤美來), while the ending song, “Countless days”, is performed by the protagonist Hina, voiced by Rina Honnizumi (本泉 莉奈).

▍Story
It’s the year 305 of the Althea calendar, and the world is entirely controlled by “numbers.” Every human born is branded with a “Count.” This Count can be anything; the number of kilometers walked, or the number of people who have said your food is tasty. If your Count drops to 0, you will be sent into the Abyss.
A young girl named Hina scours the land for the legendary hero of the Waste War. With only the last words of her missing mother to guide her search’, she wanders from town to town until she meets Licht’ a clownish masked vagrant with a count of – 999. Girl-crazy and unpredictable, he is the exact opposite of a hero…or at least’ that’s how he appears…
