▍About Dr. Stone
Dr. Stone is written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi. It is serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since 6th March 2017 and has been collected and published by Shueisha into ten tankōbon volumes as of April 2019.
An anime television series adaptation by TMS Entertainment aired from July 2019 to December 2019. The series is directed by Shinya Iino (飯野 慎也) and adapted the script of Yuichiro Kido (木戸 雄一郎).
The story sets in a day when all of humanity was petrified by a blinding flash of light. High schooler Taiju awakens and finds himself lost in a world of statues. Luckily, he is not alone. His science-loving friend Senku’s been up and running for a few months and he’s got a grand plan in mind—to kickstart civilization with the power of science.
