The TV anime Fire Force (炎炎ノ消防隊) recently announced on Twitter that a second season of the show is on its way and it will return in the Summer of 2020. Also, it is inspiring a stage play adaptation between July to August next year.

▍Stage play adaptation
Hikaru Makishima (牧島輝) will play as the protagonist Shinra Kusakabe (森羅日下部) in the stage play adaptation. It will be performed in Osaka and Kanagawa from July to August. Further details such as more cast and schedule will be announced on the official website and Twitter.
▍About Fire Force
Fire Force is a supernatural adventure manga by Atsushi Okubo (大久保篤). It has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine since 2015 with twenty tankōbon volumes released to date. The story sets in Tokyo, where humans beings are turned into living infernos. A special firefighting department, the Fire Force, is thus set for the urging situation.
