Bandai Namco Entertainment reveals the gameplay trailer of video game “SWORD ART ONLINE Alicization Lycoris”, which is set to be released for PS4, Xbox One and PC on 21st May in Japan and on 22nd May in the west .

▍Overview
The game features intense battle action, stunning JRPG visuals, and an expansive world to explore. Players will be able to follow the adventure of the protagonist Kirito in the “Underworld,” a mysterious virtual world set in the anime’s Alicization arc. Original scenario featuring new character Medina is also available.
▍Game Features
■ Technical Recording System allow you to control the AI’s behavior
Players will be able to switch to controlling any character at any time, but you can also give orders to the whole party, and orders to one specific character. This system is called the Technical Recording System and allows you to control the AI’s behavior in battle under different conditions.
■ Customized the Orders in Great Details
According to the trailer, there are many different orders you can set in the game’s menu. Each order can be customized in great detail, including how many meters that the character should place themselves when they attack the enemy. Using this AI system alongside Skills and Sacred Arts allows you to plot strategy to coordinate the party and do combo attacks.
■ Multiplayer Mode for Max. 4 Players
The game also has an online coop multiplayer mode, where four players + four AI-controlled NPCs partners can go on quests together. You can pick your partner NPC among the various SAO characters in the game. You can also customize the look of your partner NPC.
