During the “Bleach 20th Anniversary Project & Tite Kubo New Project Presentation” livestream on 21st March, a mid-length theatrical anime was confirmed for Kubo’s one-shot manga “Burn The Witch” this fall. A teaser video is also revealed for the project.
Studio Colorido and team Yamahitsuji are producing the anime. “Psycho-Pass 2” animation director Tatsurō Kawano (川野達朗) is directing the anime, while Chika Suzumura (涼村千夏) is writing scripts.
The anime casts Asami Tano (田野アサミ) as Nini Spangle (ニニー・スパンコール) and Yuina Yamada (山田唯菜) as Noel Niihashi (新橋のえる).

▍About “Burn The Witch”
“Burn The Witch” was released in the 16th July, 2018 in Shonen Jump, centering the lives of two witches working for the Western Branch of Soul Society, located in Reverse London.
It is the first work Kubo has released since the last chapter of Bleach was released, and takes place in the same world of Bleach, set 12 years after the Quincy Blood War. It is also announced that the one-shot will be turning into serialization in 2020.
