The second season of the TV anime “The Promised Neverland” (約束のネバーランド) will be postponed to January 2021 due to the concerns of COVID-19.
The anime series was originally scheduled for Fuji TV’s Noitamina programming block this October. However, its airing is affected by the previously delayed anime “The Millionaire Detective Balance: Unlimited” (富豪刑事 Balance:UNLIMITED), which shares the same timeblock and is confirmed to restarts in July 2020.
The official Twitter of “The Millionaire Detective Balance: Unlimited” announced that the anime will restart its airing from the first episode on 16th July 2020. It started airing on 9th April and aired its first two episodes, but episodes three and onward were delayed in consideration of the spread of the new coronavirus disease.
