The upcoming theatrical film “Gintama The Final” (銀魂 THE FINAL) reveals a new trailer that previews the theme song “Wadachi” (轍～Wadachi～) by Japanese band SPYAIR. The film will premiere on 8th January 2021 in Japan.
SPYAIR has performed three previous theme songs for the “Gintama” TV anime and the theme song for a previous film, “Gekijōban Gintama Kanketsu-hen: Yorozuya yo Eien Nare”. The rock band DOES also returns to perform the insert song of the new film.
“Gintama The Final” is the third and said to be the last anime film (!?) for the series. Chizuru Miyawaki (宮脇千鶴) returns to direct the film and writes the scripts. Yōichi Fujita (藤田陽一) is the supervising director. Warner Brothers will distribute the film.
