DDM Games and Level 5 “Soukou Musume” (装甲娘) multimedia project is confirmed to inspire a TV anime adaptation “Soukou Musume Senki” (装甲娘戦機) that is set to premiere on 6th January 2020. A new visual, teaser video, cast and staff are revealed.
The anime is based on the story of “Soukou Musume Mizel Rem Crisis,” the rebooted version of the franchise’s game that launched on May 21. In the game, the female characters are clad in parts from the“Little Battlers eXperience” robots.
“Date A Live” director Keitaro Motonaga is directing the anime at Studio A-Cat in cooperation with Level 5. “Sengoku Basara – Samurai Kings” writer Yasuyuki Muto is overseeing the series scripts, and Kumi Horii from “Lovedol ~Lovely Idol~” is designing the characters.
