Today (27th March), at the “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” Special Stage during AnimeJapan 2021, the series announced a new mobile RPG set to release this year!
The new game is titled “転生したらスライムだった件 魔王と竜の建国譚” (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: The Saga of How the Demon Lord and Dragon Founded a Nation) and will be developed by Wright Flyer Studios and published by Bandai Namco. According to the game’s official website, the game will include a fully voiced scenario based on the anime series as well as original stories made exclusively for the game supervised by the creator of the original series. The game will have a “Nation Building” mode in which players can build their own nations and 3D combat with skill animations.
A closed beta test is planned for the game but the precise time for the CBT has yet to be announced.
