SNK’s previously announced mobile RPG project is finally given a name! The project is now confirmed as "You Are The Hero" (君はヒーロー) and SNK has released the game’s first trailer onto their YouTube channel.
The game is set in Japan, after the fall of a "Heroic Meteor", teenagers from across the globe began developing supernatural powers. Those who use their powers for villainy were called Kaijin (怪人), and those who use them for good and justice are called Heroes (ヒーロー). The main story revolves around the fight between Heroes and Kaijin.
According to the video description, the game will support up to four-player co-op battles. The game’s Official Website has a couple of screenshots suggesting the game may feature a cooldown-based combat.
The actual release date has yet to be confirmed, but the game’s official Twitter account has tweeted news of a closed beta test for Android.
