Sparkleling and Storytelling announced Junketsu no Mahō Shōjo: Untitled Magical Girl mobile game based on the multimedia project Untitled Magical Girl (tentative). The game is set to release in 2022.
The announcement was made in the last episode of the project’s original web anime streamed on October 7 on Youtube, concluding the three story arcs; 1980s-themed “Starry Magical Girl”, 1990s-themed “Wing Magical Girl”, and 2000s-themed “Flowery Magical Girl”.
Untitled Magical Girl depicts struggles of new magical girls who are not bound by the values and common sense created by someone else, but who stand up for themselves and pursue their own ideal images and happiness.
The project is produced by Touken Ranbu ex-executive producer Yuta Hanazawa. Bungo to Alchemist worldview supervisor Jiro Ishii is credited with the original story. Love Live! composer Yohei Kisara (Stray Cats) is working as the producer.
