During yesterday’s live stream at Granblue Fantasy Fes 2021, Granblue Fantasy has revealed the details for its upcoming events and updates, including a collaboration with Uma Musume Pretty Derby in February 2022.
The Uma Musume Pretty Derby collaboration will feature Special Week, Silence Suzuka & Tokai Teio (CV: Azumi Waki, Marika Kono & Machico) as playable characters, and Gold Ship & Mejiro McQueen (CV: Hitomi Ueda & Saori Ōnishi) as Summon. Details about the collaboration will be revealed later on.
▍Future Updates & Events
A new version of Satyr, Lancelot (Limited Series) and Fedie (Limited Series) will be added to the game at the end of year.
Sindara (CV: Ai Kakuma) has been revealed to be one of Twelve Divine Generals, representing Tiger. Another Twelve Divine Generals Kumbhira can be uncapped to 5★ after the update in January.
Three new New Year outfits is coming to the game for Jeanne d’Arc, Lucio and Geisenborger.
4 new areas of Replicard Sandbox are coming in February 2022. Clearing the 4 new areas will unlock the 2nd Extra slot (12 grid slots total).12 new weapons are also coming.
The Primal series and Olden Primal series will drop in Sandbox with EX skills.
There will be a new “Classic Gacha” banner, which will only have weapons and summons released from 2014 to March 9, 2016. Sparks will not expire from this gacha – they will accumulate permanently to 300 and be tradable at that point.
Basic Treasure Quests, Six-Dragon Trials, and Elemental Treasure Quests will be removed in the 8th anniversary and replaced with a new quest that includes all the important treasures they used to drop.
▍8th Anniversary Event Details
Tier V classes are coming in the 8th anniversary, including two new classes, Viking and Paladin.
The seven summons of the Archangel series will get 4★ uncaps.
A new raid, Diaspora Impossible will be available together with the rerun of the 7th anniversary event STAY MOON.
From December 22 to January 5, a new Winter Missions will be available. Completing 30 missions can obtain an SSR Guaranteed ticket, while completing 50 missions can obtain a Sunlight Stone.
The 2022 Gachapin Roulette will return, which allows up to 200 free rolls a day! There’s also a new daily Gachapin Challenge, where Gachapin will take on a new challenge every day. Based on his success at that challenge, all players will receive extra free rolls the next day.
