A sequel of TV anime Kemono Friends (けものフレンズ) was announced on the official Twitter shortly after its final episode aired yesterday (28th March).

According to the tweet above, a new project is also in development in addition to the said sequel.
Kemono Friends is set in Japari Park (ジャパリパーク), a zoo where wild animals worldwide reside. One day, the animals become humanoid due to the appearance of a mysterious substance. The TV anime is a part of the Kemono Friends franchise created by Keroro Gunso’s manga artist Mine Yoshizaki (吉崎 観音). The franchise has also got a mobile game and a manga published on Monthly Shonen Ace.
