Fire Force, which has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine since 2015, will release its final chapter in the 13th issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine, which will go on sale today on February. To commemorate the conclusion of the series, four celebration campaigns has been announced.

Inside the magazine, readers will be able to enjoy special illustrations created by manga artist, Jyoji Morikawa (Hajime no Ippo), Hiromu Arakawa (Fullmetal Alchemist) and Ken Wakui (Tokyo Revengers), with their celebratory messages!

Fulfil the Dreams of Atsushi Ōkubo

The magazine is also having a special campaign to fulfill the dreams of the manga author, Atsushi Ōkubo. Here are two wishes that revealed by the artist;

1 “Flying in the sky like Shinra!”
Skydiving from the highest altitude in Kanto ?!

2 “Acquire an ignition ability!”
Explosion stunt may be in the works!?

About Fire Force

Fire Force is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Atsushi Ōkubo. It was serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine from September 2015 to February 2022, with its chapters collected in thirty-two tankōbon volumes as of December 2021. In North America, the manga has been licensed for English language release by Kodansha USA.

An anime television series adaptation by David Production aired from July to December 2019 on the MBS’s Super Animeism block. A second season aired from July to December 2020. The anime television series has been licensed by Funimation.

As of June 2021, the Fire Force manga had over 16 million copies in circulation.
