It was announced that Hayaken’s Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire light novel series is getting a TV anime adaptation in January 2023. Alongside this announcement, a teaser video, which reveals Akari Kitō and Ai Kakuma as the main cast, and a key visual were shown.
Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire tells the story of Hero-King Inglis’s, whose last wish is to live again as a warrior. Though when he awakens, he realizes he’s been reborn as a girl to a noble family! Even when rejected from the knighthood, she sets out to be the most extraordinary squire there ever was.
Naoyuki Kuzuya will be the director of the anime at Studio Comet, and Mitsutaka Hirota is in charge of series scripts. Reiichirō Ōfuji will be the character designer alongside Tomoko Miyakawa, Rion Matsuda, and Maki Fukui.
Ōfuji, Miyakawa, and Matsuda are also the chief animation directors, alongside Masayuki Nomoto. Kenta Higashiohji is the music composer, with Fumiyuki Go as the sound director, while Emi Takanashi will be in charge of the sound effects.
