The official website of the anime adaptation for Yomu Mishima’s Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs light novel series revealed the second promotional video and new key visual. The video also previews the opening theme song “Silent Minority”, sung by Kashitarō Itō.
Among the new staff, it was revealed that Takamasa Nakakuki will be the art director alongside Ryōsuke Kawai. Colour design will be done by Miho Hasegawa, and sound will be directed by Takatoshi Hamano, among others. The anime will premiere on April 3.
Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs follows Leon (CV: Takeo Ōtsuka), who is reincarnated into a particularly punishing dating sim video game, where women reign supreme and only beautiful men have a seat at the table. But Leon has a secret weapon: he remembers everything from his past life, which includes a complete playthrough of the very game in which he is now trapped.

Alongside the new visual, it was revealed that Akira Ishida is joining the show’s cast as Luxion, the spherical AI. (pictured below).
