KLab’s “aoppella!?” multimedia project is celebrating its first anniversary with a collaboration with the popular Japanese a cappella group, The Gospellers. The first cover song “Hitori” premiered on the official YouTube channel and preorders for “aoppella!?” first album featuring songs written by The Gospellers begin now.
The collaborated song “Hitori” is performed by the ten-person group consisting of “aoppella!?” voice actors Ryota Osaka, Tetsuya Kakihara, Toshiyuki Toyonaga, Takuya Sato, and Daiki Hamano, and five members of The Gospellers.
▍Original Songs Created by The Gospellers
The Gospellers has created two original songs for both the project’s groups Lil Happy and FYA’M’!
Lil Happy’s new song “RAINBOW” will be composed by Yutaka Yasuoka. This is Lil Happy’s first ballad song and fans can look forward to hearing a different side of the group. The new song for FYA’M’ will be “Follow Me” written by Tetsuya Murakami and composed by Tetsuya Murakami and TORUS. Fans can listen to the mature voices of FYA’M’ in this song.
▍1st Album Opens for Preorders
aoppella!? also announced the release of its 1st album “A (Ace)”. The album will include 6 original songs previously released and 2 songs newly written by The Gospellers for a total of 9 songs.
There will be a total of four types of album editions: the regular edition, limited edition Lil Happy ver., limited edition FYA’M’ ver., and the made-to-order special edition. Each limited edition will include a different CD jacket and drama CD part.

aoppella!? is KLab’s latest original multimedia music project built on the themes of “youth” and a cappella! The project follows the story of a bunch of high school students, who are captivated by the art of a cappella and aim for the top in the exclusive high school a cappella contest, “Aoppella”.
