The TV anime adaptation of Daisuke Aizawa’s The Eminence in Shadow light novel series revealed a new visual and trailer. The anime is also confirmed to debut in October 2022.
The series is directed by Kazuya Nakanishi (chief animation director on Darwin’s Game) and animated by studio Nexus. Kanichi Kato is the script writer and Makoto Iino is the character designer.
Seiichirō Yamashita plays as the protagonist Cid Kagenou, aka Shadow, Kana Hanazawa as Alexia Midgar, Yōko Hikasa as Iris Midgar, Asami Seto as Alpha, Inori Minase as Beta, Suzuko Mimori as Gamma, Ai Fairouz as Delta, Hisako Kanemoto as Epsilon, Ayaka Asai as Zeta, and Reina Kondo as Eta.
