The stage event for Dr. Stone at AnimeJapan 2022 revealed that the Dr. Stone: Ryusui special anime will premiere in July 2022. New cutscenes and character design for the anime were also revealed. TMS Entertainment is again animating the series.
The livestream event had guests such as Gen Sato (Chrome’s voice actor), Yūsuke Kobayashi (Ishigami Senku’s voice actor), Kengo Kawanishi (Asagiri Gen’s voice actor) and Ryouta Suzuki (Ryusui Nanami’s voice actor).
The special anime will follow Ryusui Nanami, the son of the owner of Nanami Conglomerate, who was revived by Senku for his expertise in sailing. This special broadcast will take place right after the events of the second season. Ryota Suzuki takes the role of Ryusui Nanami.
Season 3 of the main. Dr. Stone, which will adapt the Age of Exploration Arc, will continue the journey of Senku’s group as they set sail to search for the source of the petrification with their newly built motorboat. It will debut in 2023.
