Bandai Namco announced that The Idolmaster: Poplinks smartphone game will end service on July 21. Released on January 21, 2021, the puzzle game is a title to celebrate the 15-anniversary of The Idolmaster franchise, and has run for one year and a half.
▍About The Idolmaster: Poplinks
The Idolmaster: Poplinks is an “original unit training & live puzzle game”. It centers around a mega-concert called Poplinks Festival, where idols from the franchise will go beyond the boundaries of their respective agencies to form three-idol units. Players will play as the producer to lead your original unit to the top in this large event.
Players will be able to form a three-idol unit according to their preference. Apart from the gacha system, an “Offer” system is available for you to directly scout your favorite idols. The 60-second puzzle-solving gameplay allows you to play in short bursts of time. With simple rules (trace and connect), you can easily enjoy the game. The Idolmaster song that you selected will play during the Fever Time.
