Aniplex revealed a new teaser video for the Kōkyū no Karasu (A Raven in the Harem) anime, an adaptation of the light novel series written by Kōko Shirakawa. The anime is scheduled to air in October 2022.
The novels’ story centers on Uki, an imperial concubine who has never been called to the emperor’s bed chambers and maintains a singularly unique life within the harem chambers.
Seen by some as having the appearance of an old woman, and some others as a young lady, she is known to use mysterious magic that helps with everything from finding lost items to inflicting curses. When a circumstance makes the emperor call on her, their meeting will change history.
Among the character voices that were shown in the teaser video, Saku Mizuno will be voicing Jusetsu Ryō, Masaaki Mizunaka will be the voice of Kōshun Ka, Taku Yashiro is the voice of Eisei and finally, Marika Kōno is credited as the voice of Jiujiu.
Chizuru Miyawaki is directing the anime at BN Pictures, and Satomi Ooshima is overseeing the series scripts. Shinji Takeuchi is adapting the original character design by Ayuko for the anime, and Asami Tachibana is composing the music.
