Bandai Namco’s upcoming mobile app Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans G announced that the release period of the game has changed from Spring 2022 to sometime within the year 2022. The multimedia app’s development had gone silent between 2019 to 2021 until it resurfaced in September when they revealed a brief trailer highlighting the anime cutscenes and 3D visuals that can be found in the game.
The delay was attributed to the addition of the new side story content, which will be a new short anime episode that is viewable within the game. The developers wanted to integrate the side story content into the game as well, and thus needed extra time. The side story will be about the daily routines of the Tekkadan faction.
