The official Jump YouTube channel started streaming a brand-new promotional video of the second cour of the Summer Time Rendering anime. A new visual, opening song, and an additional cast were also revealed.
The video previewed the second opening theme song, “A Noisy Summer Dream” (夏夢ノイジー) by Asaka. The second half of the anime is set to premiere on Thursday, July 7.
To celebrate the broadcast of the 13th episode of the 1st cour, the official Twitter account of the anime (@summertime_PR) is holding a giveaway campaign in which one lucky person will win the anime’s script signed by Yoko Hikasa, the voice of Hizuru Minakata.
Summer Time Render is a science fiction suspense story, which begins when the main character, Shinpei Ajiro, hears the news of the death of his childhood friend, Ushio Kofune, and returns home for the first time in two years to a small remote island in Wakayama City called Nittogashima. The anime spans 25 episodes spread across 2 cours in total.

A new character, Ryūnosuke (CV: Yuko Sanpei), was revealed. He’s Hizuru’s twin brother, who was found dead on Mount Takanos 14 years ago. His personality and memories are now contained within Hizuru, and he borrows his sister’s body to fight the shadows.
