The anime based on Koharu Inoue’s manga, The Duke of Death and His Maid is getting a second season! The staff behind the series released a new trailer for the show! The new trailer goes over the overall plot of the second season, from the truth behind Viktor’s curse, and his proclamation to marry Alice!
The anime is set to premiere in 2023.

Koharu Inoue first serialized the manga online via Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry website from October 2017 to May 2022, with its chapters collected in fourteen tankōbon volumes as of November 2021. An anime television series adaptation by J.C.Staff aired from July to September 2021.
The Duke of Death and His Maid follows Viktor, a young man cursed with the ability to kill any animate beings his body touches. Facing a childhood of resentment and ridicule for something he never asked for, he is attended to by his lovely maid Alice Lendrott who teases and lovingly cares for him, despite his curse.
