The anime adaptation of Bushiroad’s D4DJ multimedia project announced that the second special anime, D4DJ Double Mix, will air on August 19. A teaser visual is also revealed for the announcement.
The one-episode special anime follows the story of the project units Merm4id and Rondo, which are invited to participate in the DJ festival “D4 FES.” However, the Merm4id members are concerned about Rika Seto, who looked different than usual. One day, after a live performance at the clubhouse ALTER-EGO, Rika rushes in front of Rondo’s members and makes a surprising proposal to Aoyagi….
In the anime a special live performance featuring the two units, Merm4id and Rondo, will be available. The series also announced that the second season of the anime, D4DJ All Mix will be broadcast in the winter of 2023.
