Amazon Prime Video announced a live-action adaptation of Etsuko’s works In The Apartment and More Than Words mangas, with 10 episodes debuting in Japan on September 16
More than Words is a prequel to Etsuko’s debut BL manga In The Apartment, with the live-action series covering both of these stories as they intertwine. The series stars Ryōko Fujino, Yuzu Aoki, Daisuke Nakagawa, and Daiki Kanechika as Mieko, Michio, Eiji, and Asato, respectively. The series marks Daiki Kanechika’s first role in a live-action series.
▍ More Than Words Story
The series centers on the relationships between the short-tempered high schooler Mieko, her friend Michio, and the senior at their part-time job Eiji. Whilst working at the part-time job, Eiji grows increasingly self-conscious around Michio, and once the pair open up to each other, their relationship begins to change.
