Shovel Knight Dig has set a launch date of September 23! The game is coming to consoles and PC, such as Switch, PC via Steam and Apple Arcade.
Fans may notice that we didn’t mention Playstation 4 version. Don’t worry though, as the Playstation and Xbox versions are still going to be released, but “at a later date” according to a member of Yacht Club Games.
A spin-off to the massively popular platformer Shovel Knight, Shovel Knight Dig takes players on a new adventure featuring the titular Shovel Knight, after his campsite and all of his loot are stolen by Drill Knight! Tunnel after them in this descending platformer, in Shovel Knight’s newest adventure!

▍Shovel Knight Dig Gameplay
Shovel Knight Dig features an entirely new graphics style, with high-color pixel graphics, fluid animations, and sound! The game features procedurally generated levels, ensuring each trek down the tunnels are filled with new perils and surprises.
Unlike the original Shovel Knight, you must travel downwards, digging your way through dirt and debris as you descend further down into to earth to look for Dig Knight, acquire new powerups, upgrades, and treasures and meet familiar faces with an assortment of tools and weaponry!
