The live-action film adaptation of Haro Asao and Kotaro Takata’s Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead manga unveiled more info on the film including its cast members, a behind-the-scenes look at the film, and debut date of 2023.
While the behind-the-scenes footage is rather short, it gives you an idea of how certain scenes in the movie were filmed, including zombie chases, fights, and how action sequences were planned.

The new cast members of the film include Mai Shiraishi (Center) as Shizuka Mikazuki, a girl whom protagonist Akira meets during a supply run at a convenience store. Shuntarō Yanagi (Left) as Akira’s close friend, Kenichirō “Kencho” Ryūzaki, and Kazuki Kitamura (Right) as Gonzō Kosugi, Akira’s abusive boss.

Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead is a manga series following a young man named Akira Tendo. After Japan is turned completely upside down by a zombie plague, Akira makes his way out of his apartment and onto the city with his bike.
However, he isn’t crestfallen by the fall of Japan, and realizes his mundane life can now be turned around, with his bucket list of 100 things he wants to do before he turns into a zombie!
