The teaser trailer reveals that Yūshi Ibe is directing the anime at Silver Link, Deko Akao will be in charge of the series scripts, and Mai Otsuka is designing the characters. The main character Mia will be voiced by Sumire Uesaka.
The story centers on Mia Luna Tearmoon, who after being sentenced to the guillotine, suddenly wakes back up as a twelve-year-old! With this second chance of her life in hand, she sets out on a journey in order to change the course of history, pushing the whole of the continent toward a new future. Now, why the sudden change of heart? In a nutshell…she is just terrified of the guillotine. They hurt like hell, and Mia hates pain more than work.
