Sega has unveiled the latest title in the Like a Dragon / Yakuza franchise, Like a Dragon at RGG Summit 2022!
The new teaser trailer revealed that the game will have Kiryu Kazuma working together with Kasuga Ichiban, with Kiryu rocking a completely new look in the game! While he looks completely different it’s possible that his new look is actually to disguise himself, given the events of Yakuza 6 and his current state in the series.
The series is also releasing a new action-adventure title that will play similar to Yakuza 6, titled Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name which promises to bridge the gap between Yakuza 6, and Yakuza: Like a Dragon, similar to what was done for the Kaito Files.
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and Like a Dragon 8 are slated to arrive in 2023 and 2024 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

Taking place after the events of Yakuza: Like a Dragon, the latest in the series brings series veteran Kiryu Kazuma back to the limelight with his new confidant and ally, Kasuga Ichiban from Yakuza Like a Dragon!
How will the series move forward, and how will Kiryu be able to continue living his life in the light, after he committed to living the rest of his life in the dark and out of the limelight?
Unfortunately, Sega has yet to unveil more details about Like a Dragon 8, but we’re just super excited to see Kiryu Kazuma make his return again as one of the main characters in a Yakuza title
