During the PlayStation’s State of Play, Bandai Namco unveiled Synduality, a PlayStation 5 title that will release in 2023, and has players go on a dystopian journey within the post-apocalyptic world of Amasia with their AI partner, Magus. But guess what? It’s also getting a Television anime!
The anime will follow the same theme as the game, with cast members including Aoi Koga, Nagisa Aoyama, and M.A.O. More information about the anime and its release window will be shown at the Bandai Namco special TGS 2022 live stream on September 18, 21:00 [JPT].

▍Synduality Story
The year is 2222. It has been years since Tears of the New Moon, a mysterious rain poured and wiped out almost the entire human race. The poisonous rain gave birth to deformed creatures devouring humans, and humanity fled from the danger.
As means of survival, the humans then build an underground haven; Amasia. In this newly built dystopian city, in pursuit of maintaining their existence, they run into an Artificial Intelligence named Magus. Not knowing how things will work between them, the story of how Humans and AI coincide and try to find their truths begin.
▍Synduality Gameplay
In the game, players will step in the shoes of the Drifters, people who make a living collecting AO crystals, a rare resource available on Earth. Gameplay and combat in Synduality center around Cradle Coffins, armed vehicles in which the players will be roaming on the surface and can fully personalize, from appearance to weapon loadouts, to fit their own play style.
Synduality will also have multiplayer, with other Drifters joining players to help them in their missions or turn against them, hindering their progress or fighting to loot their precious resources.
