With the cast from the live action movie reprising their roles, the drama adaption of Gintama (銀魂) has just released a trailer that shows re-created scenes of the manga’s Mitsuba Arc.
In the manga and the anime, Mitsuba Arc tells the tragic story of Okita Sougo’s sister, Okita Mitsuba, and her relationship with Shinsengumi’s vice president Hijikata Toshirou.

Gintama is adapted from the manga of the same title, which is illustrated by Hideaki Sorachi (空知英秋) and serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. The story revolves around the Yorozuya trio – Gintoki, Shinpachi and Kagura, and their daily lives in Edo.
The three-episode drama will air on 15th July and the live action movie will premiere on 14th July, 2017.
