Warner Bros. Japan announced that the fourth season of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?/ Danmachi anime series, based on the light novel series by Fujino Ōmori and Suzuhito Yasuda, will continue with the new Disaster arc in January 2023.
The second cour of the anime will premiere on Abema on January 5, before airing on Tokyo MX and BS11 on January 6. The show will also air on AT-X starting on January 9. The show will feature returning cast and characters, together with 11 new cast members. A key visual and promotional video were also revealed.
The original novel of Danmachi is also celebrating its 10th anniversary on January 15, 2023. 10 major celebratory projects will be initiated in the coming months, with details to be announced on the 10th-anniversary website.

▍Danmachi Season 4 Story
Orario, the Labyrinth City— An enormous city that harbors the endless underground labyrinth known as the “Dungeon.” It is here Bell Cranel, an aspiring adventurer met the humble goddess Hestia, made friends, challenged the Dungeon depths, and escaped death on several occasions while leveling up his skills. As he receives a mission to brave even deeper depths of the dungeon, he realizes even with all the preparations he could have made, nothing could prepare him and his allies for the horrors that awaited in the depths.
