Toho animation started streaming the official trailer for the TV anime adaptation of Saekisan’s The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten light novel series. The trailer reveals that the anime will be premiering on January 2023. Additional cast and a key art were also revealed.
The Angel Next Door centers on high schooler Amane, who lives alone in an apartment, and the most beautiful girl in school, Mahiru, lives just next door. They’ve almost never spoken—until the day he sees her in distress on a rainy day and lends her his umbrella. To return the favor, she offers him help around the house, and a relationship slowly begins to blossom as the distance between them closes.
Taito Ban voices over the protagonist Amane Fujimiya, while Manaka Iwami voices over the angelic Mahiru Shiina. Kenichi Imaizumi is directing the series at project No.9 with Keiichiro Ouchi penning the script.
