The Great Cleric is a novel series, written by Broccoli Lion. The novel series ran from October 17, 2015, to February 28, 2022, and also has an ongoing light novel and manga adaptation.
The series follows a salaryman who was murdered in Japan and reincarnated on the planet of Gardaldia. Having been reborn into a world of monsters, magic, and filled with things that can end his life at any moment, he devotes himself to the study of becoming a healer in the hopes that in this life he can live in earnest and only die of old age! But without any knowledge of magic, the salaryman, now known as Luciel will work himself to the bone, shedding any blood, sweat, or tears needed to live out his dream, or die trying!
