Regista announced today a brand new action horror game directed by Japanese comedian and YouTuber Eiko Kano! The Japanese game is titled revive of the moon and will be coming out for Nintendo Switch, though no release date was specified.
In revive of the moon, the main character and friends fight against an approaching monster with the help of his friends in modern Tokyo, which has been hit by an unprecedented crisis. Production will be jointly backed by Register and content company Plus 81. Furthermore, an audition by Eiko Kano himself is now open for potential singers for the game’s opening song. Anyone can submit, be they a pro or an amateur. Submissions close on December 28.

The story takes place in modern Tokyo, where an unprecedented disaster has struck.
The main character, Mizuki, flees for her life when suddenly strange creatures appear before her. While the city is in an uproar, the monsters attack as if to catch up with her desperate actions of escape.
However, she decides to fight against the monsters together with his friends, making full use of her well-trained swordsmanship. Thus, her destiny is set in motion. And in the midst of the battle, she approaches the abominable truth that has been handed down since ancient times…

Submissions will be accepted until Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Participants must send a song of approximately 60 to 90 seconds long via the form, and if you’re selected, you’ll be asked to submit a full version of the theme song (which has a duration of 3 to 5 minutes) by February 28, 2023.
