South Korean developer Kakao Games released a brand-new teaser site and cinematic trailer for its new MMORPG ArcheAge War. The MMORPG is coming to PC and smartphones, though no release date was disclosed yet.
The teaser website is only available in Korean, but the trailer includes the story of the war caused by the conflict between Gobanon and Kalon, the main characters of the game, and shows a siege between the kingdom and a large force stationed in the field.
ArcheAge War is a title that utilizes the ArcheAge IP and is developed by XLGAMES, the developer of the original. The story and characters, including the in-game backgrounds, evoke a sense of nostalgia for the original work, and the game features high-quality graphics utilizing Unreal Engine 4.
Compared to its predecessor, the combat elements, including war content, have been emphasized and players can enjoy a variety of combat content, such as powerful ‘field battles’, large-scale sieges, and sea battles that take place on the vast ocean.
