DMM GAMES has unveiled a new teaser site and trailer for the upcoming bishōjo RPG Blue Reflection Sun, which is set to release for PC and mobile this winter in Japan. The game will also start its first closed beta test next month.
The new project was first announced in March 2021 together with the Blue Reflection: Second Light, a sequel to the Blue Reflection RPG developed by Gust and published by Koei Tecmo in March 2017 in Japan for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The game later heads to the West in September 2017 for the PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows.
Just like the series’ other games, Blue Reflection Sun follows the day cycle of the girls who attend school and spend time with their classmates, and fight monsters. But this time, the world is covered in “Ash”, which is later known to damage human health in an unknown way. The series intended to be a portrayal of youth for women, focusing on the concepts of interaction between women and personal growth through sharing experiences with people.
