Sonic Frontiers released a 6-minute animated prologue short featuring Knuckles the Echidna
The animated short shows us a more serious Knuckles, one who takes his duties of being a guardian of the master emerald seriously, along with how his ancestors tried to take the emeralds for themselves before. Despite how intimidating Knuckles can be he still has a heart of gold and will help anyone in need.
The prologue also shows us why Knuckles hasn’t been featured in the game’s promotional material thus far, implying that we will hopefully be able to find him in-game and interact with him.
Sonic Frontiers is slated to release on November 8 for PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
