Project Moon announced that the latest in the Lobotomy Corporation Series, Limbus Company has been delayed from its release date of December 23, to February 2023.
The announcement was made on Twitter, with a full post from Kim Jihoon, director of Project Moon stating that the game’s release had to be moved from December to February as he claims they “wouldn’t be able to provide players with a satisfying experience if we followed our current release schedule”.
The issues arose from the cross-implementation of mobile and PC environments, and have stated that the developers will need more time to address these issues. Sadly this means they also won’t be able to release the pre-release teasers every Friday as planned, as they need to devote more time to the title. They apologized for the lack of news but ensured players that the title will be worth the wait.
▍About Limbus Company
Limbus Company is a mobile and PC RPG, and the third game in Project Moon’s line of games based on the world of Lobotomy Corporation and Library of Ruina.
In Limbus Company you play as a caretaker, essentially a warden leading multiple prisoners known as inners across The City, a seedy underbelly of a city housing 26 districts, each with completely different morals, values, and cultures while attempting to contain and destroy Abnormalities left in the wake of the events of Lobotomy Corp and Library of Ruina.
This time you will have to direct your sinners to fight enemies in turn-based combat, chaining together links and commands in a sort of Match-3 puzzle gameplay. Execute vicious attacks, and abilities, and dismantle bosses limb by limb to take back the city before mass hysteria breaks out.
