It has been some time since Netmarble announced The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, a brand-new open-world game crafted by the Korean developer, and we finally get a deeper look at its vibrant world with a new trailer released during G-Star 2022 held between November 17 to 20.
As a sequel to The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin will feature a multiverse worldview, where the player goes on an adventure in the continent of Britannia where time and space are intertwined with Meliodas and his son Tristan.
The open-world title allows players to freely move around and manipulate the characters from the original series to engage in real-time battles. The video has confirmed that players can switch characters between battles with footage showcasing Meliodas, Gowther, Gilthunder, and Tristan as playable characters. An original character created by the manga author Nakaba Suzuki will also join the game.
Just like other open-world games, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin will include a bunch of content where you can travel with different rides (Hawk included), dive into the sea to obtain treasures, and even go fishing.
The game is still under development with no specific release date, but it will be available for smartphones and PC that support cross-play.
