Koei Tecmo has updated the Official Japanese Website of Dynasty Warriors 9 (真・三國無双８)with a reveal on the mission system of the game, as well as additional character information on the character screen!
With the new open world system of the game, players will have a lot more freedom with how they complete each mission. From wreaking havoc within enemy castle by scaling walls or protecting battering rams to force open castle gates.
The mission’s difficulty varies according to the player’s choices. By taking out enemy transport units, players can prevent enemy reinforcements from appearing!
The update website also revealed additional character informations and screenshots!
Dynasty Warriors 9 will be available on PS4, it will be the first open-world title to the Dynasty Warriors series. A release date has yet to be announced.
