The Japanese yuri light novel series written by Inori and illustrated by Hanagata, Watashi no Oshi wa Akuyaku Reijō, known as I’m in Love with the Villainess in English, will receive a television anime adaptation in 2023. A teaser visual and trailer, alongside the main cast and staff, were also revealed with the announcement.
I’m in Love with the Villainess is an Isekai girls’ love comedy about an ordinary office worker who is reincarnated as the heroine Rae Taylor in the world of the love simulation game Revolution.
The role of Rae is played by Yu Serizawa and the role of Claire François, the game’s main antagonist to whom Rae was attracted in her previous life, is played by Karin Nanami. The adaptation will be directed by Hideaki Oba, series composition and script by Ayumi Hisao, character design by Yoko Sato, and animation production by Platinum Vision.
The teaser trailer shows scenes of Rei, who has been reincarnated in the world of an otome game and is enjoying a dream-like life with her favorite girl, Claire, whom she stalks around in her daily life.

From December 13 until December 23, a present campaign on Twitter is underway to commemorate the TV anime adaptation, where three winners will receive the first volume of the light novel and manga signed by the original author (Inori) and the original character designers (Hanagata and Anoshimo).
