NetEase announced on its Twitter that it acquired the Canadian gaming studio, Skybox Labs as an independent partner.

The acquisition from NetEase is another one of its growing list of acquisitions, as it recently also acquired Quantic Dreams after years of partnership, and also studios such as Grasshopper, GungHo, Sakura Studio, and much more.

The studio will continue to operate largely independently for NetEase Games and will also work with its existing partners to co-develop new titles for PC and consoles.
