A television anime adaptation has been announced for Eku Takeshima’s Whisper Me a Love Song yuri manga. The main cast and staff for the anime adaptation were also revealed.
Hana Shimano plays Himari Kino and Asami Seto plays Yori Asanagi, the heroines of the series. The animation production is animated by Yokohama Animation Lab and produced by Cloud Hearts, directed by Xinya Cai, with a series composition by Hiroki Uchida and character design by Minami Yoshida.
Two Illustrations commemorating the anime adaptation have also been released by Takeshima and Yoshida. There is currently no further information about the adaptation or release date and more details are expected to be revealed in the coming months.

▍Whisper Me a Love Song Anime Twitter Campaign
In addition, a present campaign is being held on the official Twitter account (@sasakoi_anime) to commemorate the decision to the anime adaptation. Three winners will receive a copy of the illustration signed by Eku Takeshima and three winners more a copy of volume 1 of the manga signed by the cast.
Prizes are scheduled to be delivered after March 2023 and can only be shipped within Japan.
▍About Whisper Me a Love Song
Whisper Me a Love Song is a Japanese yuri manga series written and illustrated by Eku Takeshima. It began serialization in April 2019 in Ichijinsha’s Comic Yuri Hime magazine, in 2020 the manga was part of the top 20 finalists presented at Niconico and Da Vinci’s Next Manga Award. The manga is licensed for publication in English by Kodansha Comics.
The manga is a girls’ band love story that begins with a “love at first sight”. On her first day in high school, Himari Kino, a new student, sees the band SSGIRLS play at a welcome party for new students and falls “in love” with Yori Asanagi, the guitarist and vocalist. When Himari confesses her admiration, Yori misunderstands her feelings with a romantic interest. But before Yori realizes it, she falls in love with Himari and begins to truly win her affection.
