Compile Heart’s coming PS4 exclusive title Death end re;Quest (デス エンド リクエスト) has already launched an official site to provide more visuals and details about the background. The game is revealed to be yet another “game x real life” themed title.
The story revolves around a VRMMORPG called Worlds·Odyssey. The development process should have stopped after the disappearance of Director Shina Ninomiya, but it surfaces online a year later in a state of being invaded by the “bug”. These bugs make the game’s universe collapse and produce mysterious phenomenons, such as giving NPC human intelligence.
Only five characters have been introduced so far. Their respective voice actors are still unknown.
